Lancashire Hawks & Owls guestbook

  1. Wonderful to see the birds today at Whitefield. The eagle owls are magnificent. We also liked the dancing owl!

I am going to bring my grandson to Chorley market as he couldn't make it today and I know he will love them.

Your birds look in amazing condition and are clearly well cared for and much loved, you are to be commended for rescuing them and giving them such love.

  3. I would just like to thank Lancashire Hawks and Owls for the display they put on at Heskin Hall at the Corey's Joust event in July. Despite the terrible weather conditions, a great display was put on which involved many members of the public who were at the event. I can highly recommend the team as it was a fantastic attraction that appeals to all ages.
    Thanks again
    Steve

  4. Michael and Margaret visited our school this afternoon with 10 of their beautiful birds. They had the not-easy task of keeping 94 infant children engaged and entertained for over an hour on a warm afternoon... they achieved it above and beyond any expectations!
Every single child sat patiently, enthralled by the information they were being given whilst having the chance to stroke the birds of prey as they came around.
The birds were well behaved (and amazing!) and the children learnt so much from Michael and Margaret who are obviously extremely dedicated to their birds and extremely knowledgable (we could have listened to them all day!).
Every single adult and child who experienced this afternoon were buzzing with excitement even after the birds had left.
We had a fabulous time and would like to say a huge thank you to Michael and Margaret for visiting our school, they were both fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to have them back in school again.
Thank you once again from myself, 94 very happy children and lots more giddy adults.

  5. Trawden Forest Primary School had a fabulous time when Michael and Margaret brought some of their owls and hawks into our school. We learnt a great deal and the experience of holding the owls will be a memory I am sure the children will cherish for a very long time. All the birds were incredibly well behaved, especially when faced with 44 screaming children.

I have no doubt we will be inviting Michael and Margaret back into school in the near future. Their knowledge of and passion for caring for these wonderful creatures was a pleasure to behold.

    Many thanks

    Mr Whittaker (Year 2)

  9. Thank you to Lancashire Hawks and Owls. We had a fantastic day when you visited our school. The children thoroughly enjoyed seeing and holding all the different owls - especially your dancing lady! I'm sure that it is an experience which the children will never forget.
